The INTEGRATION FRAMEWORK is a mature streamlined technology infrastructure that allows the communication and management of e-learning resources.
Built around a modular architecture with a fully documented API, our INTEGRATION FRAMEWORK was designed from the ground up to be a highly extensible e-learning infrastructure. This facilitates the quick assembly of integrations by providing a library of services used in e-Learning, such as security, course launching, tracking & bookmarking, course data storage, logging, session management, and configuration. All of which makes it quick and economical for Trifus to produce a wide range of high value-add integrations.
The INTEGRATION FRAMEWORK offers support for SCORM and AICC compliant courseware, integration with our own TLS (Trifus Learning Solution) and basic e-learning services. It may be extended in three basic directions:
- By adding support for a specific course type, whether non-standard or enhancement to an existing standard, including legacy computer-based training courses, and other platforms such as Assessment Management Systems and Content Management systems.
- By creating customized business rules for the processing of system events, such as the beginning or end of a course session, information received during a course session, exporting or importing of a course, and connections to external resources (such as an RDBMS)
- By customizing the programming interface to support special User Interface features.
The INTEGRATION FRAMEWORK services deliver customized consulting and sofware development solutions to meet the integration needs in a number of contexts, providing a clean, effective and affordable solution to organizations struggling with e-Learning integration.
